Hiting the Wall

I saw a documentary on TV – "Diary of a Porn Star."

It basically follows a pron model around. A girl called Denis K. She basically did porn at age 18 and then tried to make a come back 5 years latter but failed except to do one scene for some kink porn.
And the reason for that failure?

She had hit the wall.

She basically admits it – she used to get lots of jobs but now she is desperate for a job. Of course there is her running commentary about how sad she is, and young women shouldn’t do anal (because, in her words, it devalues it too much).

After she does Kink she realises that girls should do what they feel comfortable with…. (as opposed too????). And she is very sad, because the industry treated her great when she had good looks and now it doesn’t value her (because she has hit the wall) and its unfair… (perhaps she shouldn’t smoke).

Unfortunately Denise K doesn’t realize the number one rule of this business: the consumer drives the industry – not the other way around.
In the end it just sounds like a bitter post wall woman complaining (like those girls who complain about guys not wolf whistling them or paying attention to them anymore).

If anyone doesn’t believe in the wall – see this film!

WHY bringing Syrian Refugees is bad for Australia (or ALL countries)
Published 06/03/16 by Limekill [0 Comments]

Australia has just accepted 12,000 syrian refuges as part of "doing our part".

Cleverly the Government has focused on "persecuted minorities", which is another word for Christian Syrians (as opposed to muslims), this is done to get greater support from the general population who are sick of all the Muslims (as Mark Latham says - we do have a muslim problem in Western Suburbs of Sydney, no matter what PC academics say....

But I suggest we shouldn't bring out the 12,000. And I do so for three reasons:

  1. We are tearing families apart
  2. We are tearing communities apart
  3. And how do we decide who comes here? How is it fair to those wh remain?

Now I'm not suggesting Australia not do its part, but I am suggesting that we spend the $700,000,000 (that it will cost to bring these refuges out here and support them) on really helping the Syrian people.

I read that it costs about $10,000 to house a family in a semi-permanent structure (think shipping container with kitchen, etc). Now thats per family. Assuming that is 2adults and 2kids we could actually help over 280,000 people! Over 1/4 of a million people we could hep.

We could also give some of those Syrians jobs creating the container housing needed.

Plus we would not be breaking up families, nor would we be denying Communities the people they need to help with the reconstruction efforts of their homeland.

But we won't for a few reasons:

So we will break up communities and families and overlook the helping of 250,000 people (inc. small children) just so we can all pat ourselves on the back for "helping".
