A Democratic plan to create hell on earth.

The effects of communism or Marxism are not confined to the spiritual realm — far from it.

While the spiritual consequences are the most devastating, because they are everlasting, there are material world effects as well. Take, for example, urban America, the once great cities dotting the American continent: Nothing in history had ever been seen like this before, sprawling prosperous cities bolstering a giant economic engine that was the envy of the world.

But today, owing to a century-long plan hatched even as that prosperity was dominant, those same cities are in ruins, not even rising to shadows of their former glory. Perhaps the leading example of that is right here in Detroit, which was so high and fell so fast. The question is, "Why?"

America's urban rot has been a valuable tool for the Marxist Democrats. While it is that their policies have kept this the status quo for 60 years, they claim to champion the "little guy" — the oppressed, minorities, the impoverished.

But they are the very ones responsible for the oppression, the impoverishment — because they want it that way. It helps keep them in power. They are taking a page right out of Karl Marx's playbook.

For three days, The Michael Voris Show toured around Detroit, interviewed residents, peeled back the propaganda to show you the present-world effects of Democrats and their Marxism. Dana Nessel charges Republican slate of electors with a felony.

In what can only be described in terms of Marxist oppression, Michigan's lesbian attorney general has brought criminal charges against the state's slate of Republican electors going back to 2020. In an unprecedented flex of authority, Dana Nessel will attempt to convince the court that the document the 16 Republicans signed was a forgery.

You'll recall that because various states had such controversy swirling around, in some blue states, like Michigan, Republicans got together and produced their own slate of electors to present to Congress and the Electoral College.

And now, three years after the fact, Nessel comes bombing in and rounds up the 16 Republicans and hits them with felony charges for their list.

Political conservatives have rallied around the 16 and even produced a legal-bill fundraising event for them last week — a livestreaming telethon carried by the conservative media outlet The Gateway Pundit.

They had multiple guests on, talking about different aspects of all this, and Church Militant was one of those guests.

Marxists are the only ones who are allowed to talk.

One of the hallmarks of democracy in the American Republic has been the right to free speech, enumerated, of course, in the First Amendment.

It's so important to safeguard it, in fact, that when the city of Baltimore, working behind the scenes with the bishops, tried to cancel Church Militant's rally against the U.S. bishops' covering up sex abuse, we took them to court.

We won the right to hold the rally, in what's known as the preliminary injunction phase, and now we are engaged in the actual case. It is no exaggeration to say that Church Militant scored a tremendous victory (both on the trial level and in the U.S. Fourth Circuit, one step below the U.S. Supreme Court), a blow to those forces trying to squash not just freedom of speech, but free speech in the name of religious freedom.

There are three avenues where the bishops can be hit financially.

First, they can simply have their funding cut off by Congress, where various appropriations committees shovel hundred of millions of dollars to them each year. Second, the IRS code can be amended so that the bishops are required to file public tax returns known as 990s, just like every other religious nonprofits. Currently, they are exempt from that, so it is nearly impossible to track the mountains of tax dollars handed to them. That is wrong. Americans should be able to know exactly how and where their money is being spent, no matter who is getting it.

And third, their tax-exempt status can simply be revoked. They are deeply involved in politicking — for the Democrats. And that kind of blatant political engineering runs afoul of the entire spirit of the tax-exempt status.

So-called hate speech to be prosecuted?

During the midterms in 2022, when the red wave almost entirely failed to materialize except in very isolated pockets, one of the remarkable shouldn't/wasn’t supposed-to-happen things is the flip of some states to more blue. Perhaps the biggest example of that is right here where Church Militant is headquartered: Michigan.

In one night, the entire state government went from a medium shade of purple to deep blue as the communist Democrats seized back control of the state legislature, affecting the much coveted "trifecta" — control of both chambers and the governorship. With the Gov. Gretchen "lockdown" Whitmer winning reelection — as well as her Marxist maven counterparts, Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson — the Marxist Michigan monopoly is fully complete.

And as we predicted on election night (right here on this set), that was/is a big, giant danger to everything that faithful Catholics, as well as other people of goodwill, hold dear. True to form, the Marxists have introduced a bill into the state legislature, with the full support of the commie elites, that will destroy free speech of religious and political conservatives.

Of course, it's all under the guise of stamping out so-called hate speech. And we all know what that means: a euphemism for conservative speech. Any speech about truth that Marxists despise is labeled "hate," and under the proposed law, it will be punishable with fines, prison time or both. And before someone says, "That will never hold up in court. Just sue them," consider this.

First, going to court, even in the case of a slam dunk like our ongoing case in Baltimore, is a tremendous drain on mental and financial resources. Having lived in lawsuit land now for the past two years, even a win (and Church Militant is so far 4-0) in court drains away valuable time from the mission. We are here to promote the Faith for the salvation of souls and help turn around the culture to whatever degree we can in terms of people's thinking.

What an honor!

The news about that FBI dossier talking about faithful Catholics being terror threats and naming Church Militant is like the gift that keeps on giving. The other day, a reporter here in Michigan called and asked to interview me on the subject of Christian nationalism, which I agreed to.

He said he was trying to better understand what Christian nationalism is, and since I had been interviewed earlier on the subject, he wanted to get inside my head and learn about it. Of course, all this talk about Church Militant, as well as others, being domestic White terrorist nationalist extremist Christians (there, did I cover every permutation possible?) is completely insane.

These adjectives are thrown around in every possible combination you can think of: White terrorists, extremist nationalists, domestic Christians and a hundred other combos. What it shows, more than any threat, is just how idiotic and propagandist the people conflating all these things are.

If you take those six adjectives — Christian, terrorist, extreme, White, domestic and nationalist — and arrange them in varying combos, you get the entire, crazy world of the leftists trying to label Christians, especially Catholics, as a threat to the established order: enemies of the State. And the combination can be whatever combo a given outlet or government agency wants it to be because, in the end, for them and multiple media allies, all that matters is that we are somehow portrayed as dangerous or violent.

Nevermind it's not Catholics lopping the heads off hundreds of statues of saints across the country or defacing our own parishes with graffiti and sometimes setting them on fire or attacking pro-life pregnancy centers. What matters is that we are the enemy — period.

And if they can't find an actual crime, like with the case of pro-life dad Mark Houck, then they'll just scramble the adjective list around and come up with a fresh label. When the reporter asked me what Christian nationalism is, I told him, 

A view of the nation and culture rooted in the Christian belief that all men are created equal and possess a certain dignity because they are created in the image and likeness of God. From that truth flows how laws should be constructed, how politics should be conducted and how the natural moral law should be the basis for the governing of human affairs.

He said, "Well, why does it have to be Christian? Why can't it be Hindu or Islamic?"

I said,

Because neither of those belief systems subscribes to the natural moral law or the foundational truth that we are all made in the image and likeness of God and, therefore, cannot be treated with less dignity. Islam doesn't treat its women with the deserved dignity of being made in the image and likeness of God, and Hinduism has a caste system where those on the bottom are viewed as practically less than human and, we might add, treated accordingly in law.

He appeared to have gotten that notion but then moved on to the question of nationalism, saying, "Why would a nation have to be governed by Christian principles?"

I replied, 

Because it is Christian, specifically Catholic, teaching that recognizes natural moral law as originating from God as the standard in how we should relate to each other. We don't kill children in the womb, we don't subject the poor, we don't mutilate our children, we don't treat perverse sex as something protected in law and so on. We don't take away people's rights and means to defend their lives and property as well as the lives of others.

You learn a lot when records become public.

As more and more dioceses around the country declare bankruptcy in the face of a flood of sex abuse lawsuits, bankruptcy is proving to be a double-edged sword for the bishops.

First, and very important to understand, their declaring bankruptcy has nothing to do with not having the money (or resources) — they do. It has everything to do with preventing victims from gaining access to it.

And even before bankruptcy, dioceses, like the one here in Detroit under the leadership of the duplicitous Abp. Allen Vigneron, take proactive steps to shield their assets. A couple of years ago, Vigneron and his complicit legal team from Bodman schemed up a crafty plan. 

They took all of the diocese's assets and shifted them into a brand new company called Mooney Real Estate Holdings, which officially has nothing to do with the archdiocese. The only member of the corporation is Abp. Allen Vigneron.

So, officially, all of the assets of the archdiocese no longer belong to the archdiocese, and, therefore, the archdiocese can't be sued for them. We'll see if that legal maneuver holds up in court when the lawsuits are revealed here in Michigan (expected later this year).

Remember that the state attorney general's office raided the Detroit chancery a while back and has been sifting through boxes of confiscated files since then. But the move in Detroit by Vigneron points to the larger issue that bishops are now having to face the music for their immoral, sinful and (perhaps) criminal actions of covering up sex abuse for decades, burying the cases in archives and hoping they just get forgotten about.
