Welcome to The Hub. This is our welcoming tribe dedicated to introducing yourself, meeting new people, and learning about new tribes.
I made a forums post inquiring about my crowdsource effort to reach a combined $100 per month for the TRP Patreon to remove all ads on the site
If we get enough for $100 (doesn't require too many people with the right numbers), and you joined that effort and donate your small amount of that monthly, you will STILL have ads permanently removed from your account, even if later on other people back out and ads have come back. Or if you have to stop contributing later on.
See original post for details, just trying to get the amount of a cup of coffee or two if people are feeling generous for the value TRP has brought for no expense all these years. Running list of people interested in the stickied comment
@deeplydisturbed too late for weekend rules
I'll do it this next weekend, if I remember
some men here might not have seen it.
Hell yeah. I just like reminiscing and history. I also repost stuff occasionally, and have been meaning to do some more lately.
I like to get every mile out of every meme!
OMG samesies!
@Vermillion-Rx I love Stonetoss, but I don't get this one
It's like Patrice O'Neal's bit about the tragic losing vagina accident. They've reduced themselves to just a series of holes.
That dude was a fucking genius at several levels.
This "series of holes" part of that routine was so utterly devastating. Women everywhere should have shared this with each other and made a plan around how to NOT be that woman.
Yet here we are....
And yes - good times they were indeed.
It's coming along, slowly but surely. I've an appointment with my orthopedist in a couple weeks to check on my leg - that'll be 7 weeks after the accident, which my physical therapist tells me is just shy of how long it generally takes for broken bones to heal (that being 8 weeks/2 months). If all goes well he suspects I'll be cleared to start putting weight on it again after that - then I'll start working with occupational therapy, which is "where the real fun begins," he says with a sadistic gleam in his eye.
I like my PT. He's good people.
Two weeks after that I have another follow up with my urologist to see how my kidneys are shaping up. The catheter's out but I still have the coil and stents in - I'm not altogether certain what either of those do but the way he was speaking about the latter last week indicated they, at least, aren't supposed to be permanent.
I also have a dentist appointment that afternoon. Apparently past me wanted to make sure I got all the really fun stuff in one day.
Read MoreHa! I don't recall that comment - but I have heard others saying basically the same thing.
I cannot think of a meme that better captures a sub theme of a movie better than this one.
Brutal for sure.
