Fatherhood and the Rise of Pornography
Whenever a man who struggles with pornography addiction comes to me for help, I usually view the pornography use as merely a symptom. Whether he is aware of it or not, the man may be using pornography to cope with deep emotional wounds. By self-medicating with pornography, the man conditions himself to turn to pornography whenever he’s feeling stressed, angry, sad, ashamed, abandoned, etc. as a result of those wounds. While his attraction to pornography is like a moth to a flame it’s simply a coping mechanism.
One specific wound that plays a critical role in the development of addictions is an attachment wound. Attachment refers to the emotional bond an infant develops with his primary caregiver. This usually refers to the mother; however, with most male pornography/sex addicts, I have found attachment wounds with the father to be more critical. A healthy attachment develops when a father is actively involved in a child’s life starting at birth. The father provides ample love, affection, and nurturance through eye contact, talking and singing to the child in a gentle voice, playing with the child, comforting the child, and meeting the child’s basic needs. This aids in healthy neural development for the child (Flores, 2011).
Through this bonded relationship the child observes how his father effectively deals with stressful situations. This enables the child to trust his father and feel safe with him. He knows he can always count on his father to take care of him and keep him safe. This is called co-regulation. From this process, a deep confidence develops within the child. He not only learns from his father how to deal with life’s stressful situations, but he also believes he has the strength and the ability to successfully deal with them. This is called self-regulation. A child with a healthy, secure attachment to his father can develop healthy self-regulation, and thus deal with life’s struggles effectively (Flores, 2011).
Unfortunately, many men who become addicted do not have a healthy attachment with their fathers...

Read MoreLibido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Political Control
Libido Dominandi, written by Dr. E. Michael Jones, shows how sexual liberation is a top-down scheme of political control. What you think of as “free love” or “natural biological urges” is really an extensive plan by the elites to keep you obsessed and occupied with sex. In essence, our modern society is constructed in a way to maximize your lust so that you are too weak and distracted to fight a corrupt ruling class that is stealing your birthright and nation.
The purpose of our sex-obsessed culture is to control you. From sexy fashions to pornography, all are meant to keep you in a permanent state of genital obsession. As you may have noticed, it’s working. Both men and women have sex burned onto their minds and shape their lives to fulfill its obtainment.
The state promotes never-ending change so that you never feel like you’re on firm ground. Your ship is tossed in stormy waters and you can only hold on as the elites thrust one more fad, trend, or crisis at you, which has the cumulative effect of disconnecting you from your land and people. You take on the spirit of a rootless traveler, or you become that in the literal sense. You have no place to call home, especially not the urban containment zones where you live to extract pleasure. You have no roots to cherish. Here’s a new shiny toy or body for you to get temporary meaning from, and when you bore of that toy, you seek out another toy, yet that only kills the time, and you lose yourself totally.

Read More20 ways to suck at quitting porn - NoFap
At NoFap, we often discuss how to quit porn. In this short article, we will give you 20 ways to NOT quit porn.
1) Have an all-or-nothing mentality. This attitude can blind you from the progress that you’re making. A reduction of problematic behavior, instead of a full elimination, is still progress. Going from 7 porn sessions per day down to twice per week is a huge accomplishment, even if you aren’t yet reaching your goal of living life completely porn-free. Everybody has to start somewhere. Your favorite sports star wasn’t simply born with those abilities; they also had to train for years to get where they are today. It is the same thing for recovering porn addicts – it often takes months (or even years!) of consistent work and improvement to kick the habit fully. Don’t let slip-ups turn into give-ups. Keep on moving forward and avoid getting so upset that you completely abandon your recovery goals.
2) Think that quitting porn will fix everything in your life. Yes, overcoming porn addiction or problematic porn use has many potential standalone benefits. But many of the benefits you can experience are likely due to you living your life more fully. For example, quitting porn doesn’t directly result in better fitness; it’s up to you to spend your extra time and energy pursuing healthier habits such as exercise. Quitting porn doesn’t make you super-human but can help you regain the natural capabilities you were born with.
3) Continuing to watch porn if you’re recovering from porn addiction. If you are a recovering porn addict, you almost certainly shouldn’t be using porn. For some reason, we get many messages from people asking us whether or not watching porn “counts,” just so long that they’re aren’t finishing to it. Yes, it still “counts” even if you are not masturbating to orgasm. If you are watching porn, you could still be conditioning your brain to porn rather than a sexual partner.

Why You Might Keep Watching Porn Even When You Don’t Want To
Not everyone who watches porn is or will become “addicted,” but porn addiction is real as evidenced by research from "respected" institutions.
Many people in our society want to quit their porn habit because of personal, relational, or ethical reasons, but they can’t seem to stop going back to it.
Can you relate? Do you commit yourself to quitting but find yourself going back to porn?
You could be dealing with an obsession, compulsion, or in some more serious cases, an addiction to porn.
Not everyone who watches porn is or will become “addicted,” but porn addiction is real as evidenced by decades of research from respected institutions.

Watch FULL episode HERE: youtu.be/pueq1xnmeoo
On this week's episode of TheFallenState TV, host Jesse Lee Peterson is joined by Alana Parekh, a prn addction recovery coach and the host of the @AAHANA podcast. In the interview, Alana discusses how her parents' arranged marriage and traditional Indian background paradoxically led her to have a much different upbringing—one where she was encouraged to date (and even sleep) around before marriage. She discusses how she became addicted to watching prnography from a very young age, and how common it was among her friends to be exposed to this type of content as early as age 7. Ultimately, she talks about overcoming her addction as well as so much of the programming & indoctrination she received in college, both socially and academically. You don't want to miss this exchange on such a pervasive epidemic, and the real root cause of this surprisingly common add*ction!

Porn Addiction is Being Severely Underestimated. How do I know this?
Because most people believe that in order to get rid of this addiction, all they have to do is keep trying over and over again, until eventually things will just ‘click’ and their brains will finally become rebooted.
Very few are treating this as a true addiction. They just see it as a habit they want to break.
This is evidenced by the stubbornness of many, relying purely on willpower for months, only to constantly reset their counters and beat themselves up for not making any progress.
Most people don’t realize how incredibly difficult it is to completely remove artificial stimulation (of any kind) for the rest of their lives. We’re talking about years and years of brain conditioning here.
We’re dealing with some powerful stuff here, but it is not treated seriously enough, probably because it’s widely accepted by society and is not a substance like heroine or cocaine.
I cringe when people relapse, reset their counters, and proclaim “This is it, I’ve had enough, I’m going to do it this time”…
Stop kidding yourself.
This is an addiction that has to be attacked from many different angles. You need a full arsenal of tools and strategies, as well as a proper mindset.
Willpower alone won’t do shit.
Abstinence is NOT Recovery
What people usually try to do is go as many days clean as they can.
That’s all they do.
That’s all their goal.
They achieve a certain amount of days, then for whatever reason they relapse, so they start over and repeat.
That is abstaining. That is not recovering.
