I've never seen anyone successfully do that
I've done the bow-drill method back when I was a kid/adolescent, and considering how difficult it was, if you can actually rub two sticks together and start a fire, I'm incredibly impressed
But I strongly doubt it. Nothing personal.

@Typo-MAGAshiv I am a terrible sucker for doing it simple and trad.
I can make a killing bow and arrows with only from what I can find from nature. I can easily take a deer to bits if I can find a lump of flint and I can make a fire rubbing the sticks of over a dozen tree species. These technologies please me but I think the females in my house might prefer an air corn popper.
Work made me reluctantly get a mobile. I am currently being nagged for having a TV that I thought was big but apparently is tiny compared to those in hive mates houses. The heating did not come on last winter and probably won't this winter because I chop a lot of wood.
I studied the classics. Looking backwards has grounded me but I realise that it also tethers me sometimes.
