An easy to hack system would actually divert the users to the competition.
Patching is delayed likely due to the stability reasons and maybe they use it themselves or the vulnerabilities are being used somewhere and some agency needs more time.

The best point from that vid is not the review though. The best point is that YT (GOO'gle)(Bethabet) introduced another way to fight an inconvenient content.
They somehow block the donations or the cash transfers during a podcast/live video.
A shadowbanning / an ad demonetisation is not enough anymoreapparently.
