@redpillschool some good news from the Donald - apparently no longer going to force people into these EVs. I can only hope that will soon come to UK.
Personally, I never actually believed that the EV mandate would ever come into force. It's just not credible.
We have a long way to go, but perhaps we are going to see the ESG crap fading. One can only hope.

People forget this one simple thing - we live to an average of 83 in the first world because we have money. when the money is gone, the life expectancy will drop to 3rd world levels. There is no mystery to this. We use money in the first world to prevent dying (health, sanitation, emergency services). When there is no money left, we start dying.

I do know of one charging station located at the half-way point of the trip, only because we generally stop there for a meal/rest stop.
I don't know for sure, probably a Level 2 charger, and there is only one, and you have to ask the Gas Station Attendants to use it, so probably not free.
There is a possibility of some being located within a half hour either way.
For the longest time, there was only one Tesla repair center, and it was an 8-9 hour drive from my location.
I've seen a few Teslas and other EV's locally, the majority of vehicles are ICE.
and unless it's a Tesla branded charging station, they are now pay to use in many areas.
Tesla hasn’t offered free charging with new cars in general since 2018, altho it sometimes runs promotions giving a new owner some limited amount of free charging.
Hybrid is okay, especially in stopngo, but it’s way more complex than pure electric or ICE. I had my last car over 20 years.

@MentORPHEUS Engineers design things and mechanics fix them. Though there is some overlap between the two, both use scientific principles to solve problems, so in a way you are a scientist.
