There are States where we're barely conscious and we can't even say are we powerless or else. Need some grounding.
I barely drink and I was considering (still do) going to AA for grounding.
Just because I don't know, not because I need it or even think it'll help me.
I can't speak for him but my disdain for NA/AA comes from the first step, admitting we are powerless.
Perhaps it is my ego that gets in the way but why the fuck did i choose to show up here if I'm powerless?
It's never sat right with me and my experience has been most people there, are court ordered. The vast majority of those will be back on their bull shit the moment they're off paper.
