@Typo-MAGAshiv That thread where he went off on "Claiming too many people on Earth is a zero sum game, and zero sum games are socialist/communist/something, and besides, Thorium Reactors will solve all of mankind's energy and economic problems Any Day Now^TM" was the last I saw of Whisper on the internet.
Something to comment on for you.
Small part of Arnold's post in X
@redpillschool holy shit! That's how fat she is? I couldn't tell from just the front of her face
there were others
befit*before his abrupt departure.
Fucking phone
One of the saddest casualties of this process was when Whisper, who I always saw as the smartest guy in the TRP room, lost his shit and flounced after making a long but poor and misguided rebuttal to a "Too many people" remark.
Was that his last conversation here? I could have sworn there were others befit his abrupt departure.
I tried to check and got stymied by a bug I keep forgetting to message @redpillschool about: going to a user's profile no longer shows their posts in order from most recent on back, but rather seems to have no rhyme or reason to the order they're shown.
On a different note, I've had multiple occasions in which I used the site's search feature to dig up an old discussion, only to discover that Whisper had deleted one or more of his replies in the discussion. Some of them made no sense to delete, too.
Read More@MentORPHEUS you could always subscribe to it, and then access it via the "your tribes" part of the dropdown menu
@redpillschool By the way, WHY is this tribe so hard to navigate to? I'm surprised it doesn't show up prominently (much less at all) in the left sidebar, or the tribe suggestion panel above the feed.
@redpillschool Thanks, I often find myself a lone voice in the online political wilderness. For example, an industry forum where I've been active for a quarter century now. It's long been dominated by a hard right wing faction that ruthlessly attacked and bullied everyone a millimeter left of themselves away. Now it's an echo chamber where discussion of ideas and concepts outside their Overton Window never goes higher than the bottom levels of Graham's Hierarchy of Disagreement. I saw the same processes at work on TRP subreddit when the Trump campaign kicked off.

I think it's a shame that most Americans today treat politics as a spectator blood sport, and engage it at the superficial level of slogans, "Gotcha" statements, and memes. If one even TRIES to engage people more deeply, they immediately make excuses to disengage and drop out. It's like they only want to play when their "team" is winning, and leave in a huff the millisecond it stops being a "fun" groupthink activity. I can understand this in a cohort of blue collar workers, but when a cohort of masculinity proponents who emphasize self-accountability resort to it, I am left bewildered.
