I always found that laughable. I've never known anyone to "fear" commitment itself. Either he cl feared committing to the wrong woman, or he just didn't want to commit.

Shrinks legalize the female mating strategy, while vilifying the male one. The "liberated" promiscuous women vs the "commitment phobic" man.
Besides money, they get recognition and status like the ol' witch doctors. As far as their integrity is concerned, most of them are really sell-outs.
