This has (rightfully IMO) provoked Russia to re-evaluate their nuclear use protocols. Putin announced that if a nuclear armed country assists a non-nuclear armed country in attacking the Russian homeland, they will consider it an act of war by the assisting country. Response to this goes up as high as nuclear weapons used on the homeland of the assisting country. We are stupid to assume we could fight a proxy war against Russia and be shielded by consequences by the Atlantic ocean.
It sickens me to hear the Normie take on this that is spreading through MSM and channels like TikTok. "Oh, Putin is threatening nuclear war! What a madman!" Frankly, Putin has shown remarkable restraint up until now, and Americans sleepwalked their way into being today closer to nuclear war with Russia than even during the Cuban Missile Crisis!

I go back to the 1970's on this. And it was girlfriend stuff at the time. She was THE archetype for a good girlfriend IMO - hence the comic bit.
I never got into the proper books but when I was growing up Spider-Man was one of the syndicated comics in my local newspaper. Still written by Stan Lee and covering his adventures as an adult, established in his career at the Bugle and married to MJ. She treated him exactly the same in those later comics and it kinda' became the template in my mind for how relationships should be.
Kinda' still is, to a degree. I obviously can see the relationship between them as Lee's idealized girlfriend/wife and I understand women generally don't work that way, particularly in the degenerate west, but what was portrayed there wasn't really unreasonable. Hell, it was probably seen as the standard when Lee was growing up - superpowers excepted, obviously.
