The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men.
Oh i didn't realize they commented i just control f'd the phrase throughout
Addendum: in case it's not clear, the Professor was utterly alone in his desire to Red Knight. everyone there was hostile to the idea.
@Vermillion-Rx too drunk and distracted by RL to be too serious, but did you read the replies to the Good Professor?
Fucking Jack10 and Rian actually agreed on something!
Caveat: if memory serves. Still didn't reread. Yet. Shit.
Might as well repurpose the term. The definition is similar but carries a different conation and set of consequences. Even the article you linked mentioned red knighting in the affirmative connotation should be subtle.
I'm just going to repurpose the term, it has otherwise completely fallen out of the TRP space lingo
My search terms here on this site indicate more of the way I used it (in which there are typically consequences for being a "red Knight"). Although it's about half and half usage and all the searches are way back like 8-6 years ago. Never officially defined in TRP
MRP other definition is almost half antiquated because RP is so mainstream. Stone and BPP also no longer contribute here and as far as I'm aware I've never organically come across it on this site
The term might as well either be repurposed or have a second definition as many words in English do. It would be better served for describing what a lot of guys on here attempt
@Vermillion-Rx caveat: I haven't read BPP's post in several years, and I don't remember that other one at all.
White knight is a derogatory term and when i thought red knight was knew it was likewise intended to be derogatory
It is, when used by most RPers.
Just like White Knight, Red Knights have the noblest of intentions, but have their heads up their asses.
I think BPP had his head up his ass, if memory serves. I love the guy, but he got some high and mighty, almost MRA-esque ideas at times.
Is that only a married redpill thing?
not sure. Only searched where I knew I'd find results. Still have other shit to look into, reply to, etc I might not even get to tonight.
They don't particularly even like our community i am tempted to just take the term for our own usage
I know Rian Stone and BluePillProfessor have historically contributed to both TRP & MRP, and they have both used the term
