@deeplydisturbed While I agree the LA Times headline panders to a specific lay audience in a desperate bid for eyeballs to monetize their dying business model, don't lose sight of the realities of disease contagion in an orgy of right wing virtue signaling wherein the virtues include the poors don't DESERVE access to healthcare.

I'm old enough to have lived through the early days of the AIDS outbreak, when it got openly dismissed as a problem of the Blacks and the drug addicts by smugly self-righteous Reagan era Republicans, only to vector its way into and throughout their own constituencies.

Or the 80:20 rule is validated yet again. Chad might get STDs because he runs through a lot of sluts. He might pass them on but he is top 20% only. 80% of slags are taking his dick so you get distorted figures where 20% of men are in the high risk to STDs class while 80% of women are.
