Welcome to The Hub. This is our welcoming tribe dedicated to introducing yourself, meeting new people, and learning about new tribes.
And of course, if you didn't think we were tracking edits you haven't been on the internet long enough. Here's our hall of fame.
Dude, you should hear yourself. Do you think anybody, ANYBODY, wants to 'problem drink'?
If i am wrong I'll come back here and say so
Let me tell you why and how I know that you can't have a normal relationship with booze: your history.
Two years straight. The rest of the abuse was intermittent lasting less than a week each time and then i wouldn't drink much
My bigger problem was i wasn't addressing and being controlled by the social damage I've gotten on the spectrum for years until my recent breakup, which I finally felt again in over a decade and got to address.
I knew which topic aggravated that inner turmoil but I could never access it and it finally got blown back open for me to deal with. I'm not worried about the alcohol
If there is alcohol in your life, you will for sure go back to binging.
I've been surrounded by alcohol for two weeks. Haven't drank any, even when my entry cover to different places already had it paid for and it would have been "free"
There is only one way to slay the dragon....and that is you need to slay the dragon. You can not keep it as a pet, it will always burn you.
I'm not seeing it. If I'm wrong I'll come back here and say so

Rian Stone reference detected
in their zeal to push their agenda
I guess I phrased the question to focus on the news rather than those reported upon. I'm not talking about second-order reporting, I'm talking about the first-order conspicuous presence and involvement in day to day White House activity and announcements that makes news.
Think again: Has Elon Musk's previously close and conspicuous involvement in White House activity gone way down in the past week or so compared to during the first 2 months of the Administration?

"I really do not have an intrinsic desire or otherwise to go back to binging."
If there is alcohol in your life, you will for sure go back to binging.
Think about this...... have you EVER wanted to binge? No. It's just something that happens when booze is in your life.

"I just don't want to problem drink"
Dude, you should hear yourself. Do you think anybody, ANYBODY, wants to 'problem drink'?
No. Nobody does. And you yet millions of people do. And millions of people die from it. And ruin their lives with it.
All of the, and I mean ALL OF THEM, got there the same way you did, and I did. They tried to control it, they tried to keep it for special occasions (birthdays, dates whatevers) and they all ended up the same.
Let me tell you why and how I know that you can't have a normal relationship with booze: your history. How many years have you been absuing your poor brain with excess alcohol ? Think about it - you DON'T WAN TO PROBLEM DRINK and have never wanted to PROBLEM DRINK but here you..... PROBLEM DRINKING.
Do you know see what is going on? The booze is controlling you, you are not, have never been, controlling the booze.
The very idea that you can control the booze is bonkers.
Please think long and hard about this - what would be so wrong with a sober life? Why don;t you love the idea of it? To sit on a beach, watch the sun go down and there not be a single miligram of alcohol in your blood?
Imagine waking up, at 6am, after a peaceful night, in a beautiful log cabin, and your bloodstream has nothing but blood in it. You are as sober as the day you were born. You have a coffee, and wander down to the edge of the lake. You slip into the warm water... its beautiful.
Sober life is beautiful. Think about it.

@MentORPHEUS Regular people love the idea of firing federal workers and shutting down departments. Media is not presenting an accurate picture at all. People in flyover country are hardly fans of DC bureaucrats.
