When it comes to divorce, do it the hard painful way. Take big hits now to avoid the slow bleed in future that will stop you recovering. Women are greedy by nature but they are also short term by nature. If you have to offer her everything you have to get her to agree to leave your pension alone and there to be no maintenance -make that deal and laugh as you walk away from court broke. You lost big but the moment you made that loss was when when you signed that contract. Now you just won a future.
@Lone_Ranger In fact the moment you get into trying to vent your pain about being cheated on or in some other way mistreated in a divorce setting, then you pay more.
Every time you raise something, your lawyer writes to her lawyer (charge). Her lawyer then rights to her (charge) she writes to her lawyer. Her lawyer writes to your lawyer (charge) your lawyer then writes to you (charge) to finally get her reply (fuck off you stingy loser) back to you. Its the most expensive way to contest an argument imaginable and the judge doesn't give a shit. He will just split your money in the usual way unless you did something illegal to her and then he will sting you worse. He will probably let her off anything illegal she did cos pussy pass. Infidelity is not significant at all.
Your best odds as a man in divorce are usually to take your beating in silence slowly divesting yourself of all you can until the bargaining starts, then negotiate well just before court. This will mean taking some big hits (or she will say fuck you and let the judge decide at more expense) but maybe you can chose the hits to take. You will not come out of this well no matter how madly she treated you.
That state support divorce. The state does nothing to support marriage. That would be against the law.
