Welcome to The Hub. This is our welcoming tribe dedicated to introducing yourself, meeting new people, and learning about new tribes.
Update on the crowdsource effort for no ads on forums. I changed my own personal donation from $6 per month to 14.99
If anyone is interested in doing the 2.99 or 6.00 per month me me know. we currently have $40/100 from everyone who has chipped so far and if you chip in now your perks of zero ads will stay permanent even if we have to bring ads back after or if you are unable to keep donating later on.
If the site brings you value consider tossing some pocket change towards the site quality

@Wahmyn I love my pickup. Its hard to park, has expensive tyres, uses lots of diesel and doesn't corner as well as a lower vehicle. I can't even put my kids in the back unless they hide under tarps, so its not as much use as a big car most of the time but it supports my fragile masculinity. Trust me these days masculinity is very fragile.
I can play terribly blue pill country songs as I drive home with a deer in the back and for a short while, I can fool myself that the world is still safe for people people born with penises (Did I get that term right?)
You do know where I live right? That's like a typical Monday morning just walking through the parking lot.
Whole place is a shit show.
Slacker. Have some tokens of laziness.
Nice. Good to hear from you again.
This place needs some straightening up - if you know what I mean. there are WAY too many folks here who are.... uh...how shall I put this:
- Light in the loafers
- Pillow biters
- Pickle smokers
- Goop gobblers
- Stick bundles
- Peter Puffers
- Hershey Highway Bandits
- YMCA visitors
- Glory Hole Patrons (mostly on the taking side)
- Fudge packers
That's all I got for now.
Happy Sunday!
Old and derailed for a while, but the OPFOR hasn't got me yet.

@Typo-MAGAshiv Yes, I've been to South Dakota, Kansas, and North Dakota and bought licenses with no issues. Not sure about other places but I think the course is pretty standardized now.

@Typo-MAGAshiv Oh yeah I agree its a huge bear and it could kill a man easily. You can see from the picture where he has part of his hand in front of the paw as he holds it up. Its massive.
What I meant was that many trophy hunters tend to try to take pictures with them well behind the animal to make it look bigger. I just don't get it. I like to know how big something is, not to see how big you can make it look.
When I shot my first deer, I sent the guy who sold me the rifle a picture of me with the small buck just saying "It worked" I was just over the moon to have got one. He immediately replied with "Don't stand next to it. You need to stand a little way behind the buck to make it look bigger, check out these attached pictures. It will make your hunt look much cooler".
For some guys size matters more than it should!
There is a whole value in accurately recording trophies -it gives a snapshot of a population in time and this assists conservation. If you know how big the best specimens were in a given year, you can track the success of conservation. Is a population too stressed by hunting or is it not stressed enough? Both would mean smaller trophies and if you look at whether numbers have gone up or down you can see which it is -or is it another factor?
Perhaps I am being too serious. Women have accused me of such and, as we know, women must be believed!
