@JohannesFactotum Definitely. If you can create a mutually beneficial agreement, not only do you make yourself a good deal, but you also have a partner for future dealings. Keep an eye on yourself though, the other party is always looking for weakness.

@CalamariRP I think there is a middle-ground as well, being contractually-sufficient. If you can arrange to always have another option for a service provider you can "fire" bad providers.

There's much liberty to be gained in becoming self-sufficient as opposed to communally sufficient. I think that's the key idea behind TRP and awakening men.
