@kukupeter I was intimately involved with core members of the Libertarian Party in the 90s; their mantra was "Government that governs least governs best."
Disillusioned because of their dogmatic belief that "the free market" would keep avarice, greed, and cost externalizing in check, instead of allowing them to dominate and define commerce. They talked extensively of "The tragedy of the commons" and insisted removing all laws and restrictions on individuals and corporations would prevent it, in the face of all evidence that lack of laws and restrictions are the very thing that allows it to happen, and the laws and restrictions were drafted and ratified IN RESPONSE to it.
Libertarianism pedestalises the free market the same way feminism pedestalizes women. Both become toxic and destructive to everything around them when you institutionally treat them like their shit doesn't stink and place absolutely no boundaries on their behavior.

@forever The grass always seems greener on the other side. Golden opportunities do not exist, except for in our head. In truth, there are plenty of hot women in every country and it doesnt matter much from what country or culture they originate.
