"Impact, don't impress"
razburyturmymury
@razburyturmymury I think you’ve got it covered.
The purpose of the argan oil (or any beard oil) is to keep the beard hairs in good condition, it keeps your beard hairs soft and helps them retain their moisture.
If you’re not moisturizing your whole face -including the skin under your beard - do that first. After that, I rub the oil on my beard and take a badger hair brush and brush the oil into it.
I use Moroccan Oil Argan Oil and Jack Black Beard Oil interchangeably. Normally I trim my beard twice a week and clean up the edges with a razor. It doesn’t take long at all.
@RPU_mike by “manscaping” I meant beard / facial hair grooming. As I want to keep a 4mm beard (a stubble), I am currently using an electric beard trimmer (with an adjustable guard length; to shape and trim the hair in my stubble shape), a classic shaving blade and beard foam (for removing undesired hair outside of the stubble shape area), and an aftershave lotion.
I did not hear about argon oil, what is its function and benefits?
I am thinking of also introducing a good pair of barber scissors (for snipping stay hairs and for detailed trimming). I also want to get a beard shaping template so that I can shave and maintain my stubble shape as symmetrical as possible.
Is there any other beard product or tool you would recommend for a manscaping routine?
@razburyturmymury Argan oil and a beard trimmer, not scissors.
What products and accessories are a must-have for a good manscaping routine? Do you recommend beard scissors?
