@reddish I believe that in order to pull a "sigma" strategy you need to be even more attractive than "alpha". Having females mating with you even without displaying dominance on your surroundings? Way more attractive.
Your best bet is probably the situational "alpha". Although always thinking "Am I Alpha?" is not productive.
@adam-l So what about "sigma male" profile? As I know, they are not as extraverted as alphas but they are as attractive as alphas. So, do not women interested in sigma males? I'm not one of those who deceive himself as a sigma male, but I don't find it exciting to spend time outside for fun or to be in the spotlight all the time, I feel like it's a waste of time.
@reddish Introversion is, unfortunately, not attractive to women.
You don't necessarily need to enter the typical hookup places and pretend to be extroverted there. But you do need to have and display mastery somewhere. That, and working on your physique and grooming, should get you a GF.
@TwoInchesOfShaft I know that mental strength is very important and I believe I have this, but what if my "mental point of origin" doesn't attract anyone? Should I accept being alone all the time?
Hello.
You know, sticking to popular culture makes you stand out more, it's a kind of social engineering. For example, supporting the political party that everyone supports, listening to trending songs, watching popular TV series, drinking lots of alcohol, visiting the places everyone visits, and more...
My question is: are men like me at a disadvantage in hypergamy, who are anti-popular, more traditional, and possibly contradictory in many interests and discussions with society? (I'm not pushing myself for this, I just think differently than most people.)
For example, I've never been someone who spends most of my day outdoors, I'm definitely not antisocial, but I'm not interested in going out often, so I worry that women will call me "boring." Even if I don't like it, do I have to be a socially enforced character? Should I live a character that is forced by society, women, or popular culture, not according to my own interests?
To be honest, I was dreaming of being with a woman who thinks like me, is not a travel lover, and we can be enough for each other. What should a masculine man's stance be on socializing and adapting to popular culture? Should I improve myself in traveling and socializing more? Or should I listen to pop music that everyone loves, support the most popular political party, and take pictures with cars all day (like every popular guy on Instagram)? Isn't this the denial of my own will?
