Of course I am wrong for saying that its obvious... I mean a girl who dates a guy in a 'outlaw' 1% chapter is actually looking for a safe, secure beta guy to be with....

I have zero sympathy for her - she chose.
I have complete sympathy for her child - an unknowing victim to her choices.
Perhaps we should encourage better choices to be made.

I would say it's her nature, not her fault. Woman are not rational agents, but emotional ones. If thugs connect to her, then they are equivalent to princes.
Women aren't idiot or smart - all these are masculine characterizations. Yes, it's regrettable what happened, but that's just the way of the world. To expect women to prioritize logic over emotions is not just futile, but also takes away her femininity if she attempts to do so.
