I saw a documentary on TV – "Diary of a Porn Star."
It basically follows a pron model around. A girl called Denis K. She basically did porn at age 18 and then tried to make a come back 5 years latter but failed except to do one scene for some kink porn.
And the reason for that failure?
She had hit the wall.
She basically admits it – she used to get lots of jobs but now she is desperate for a job. Of course there is her running commentary about how sad she is, and young women shouldn’t do anal (because, in her words, it devalues it too much).
After she does Kink she realises that girls should do what they feel comfortable with…. (as opposed too????). And she is very sad, because the industry treated her great when she had good looks and now it doesn’t value her (because she has hit the wall) and its unfair… (perhaps she shouldn’t smoke).
Unfortunately Denise K doesn’t realize the number one rule of this business: the consumer drives the industry – not the other way around.
In the end it just sounds like a bitter post wall woman complaining (like those girls who complain about guys not wolf whistling them or paying attention to them anymore).
If anyone doesn’t believe in the wall – see this film!
