What's the maximum BC you'd be willing to accept from a woman and what is your reasoning?
Keep in mind, one woman could have had a BC of 4 but all were LTR's, the other could have only 2 but they were ONS's. So there is more depth to the equation than pure arithmetic. Then also, both could have the same number and one has been banging weekly, while the other monthly, et cetera. What line does it take in your mind to be considered "for the streets" and "for the sheets"?

Don't look for a number , it's all so variable, like how old she is has a big factor.
The biggest factor by far, to me at least is, casual sex. If she was into casual sex, lot's of ONS, kinky stuff.

Body count is only one symptom of value. I would rather have a high-value woman with a high body count, than vice versa. A better question is how mentally secure is she--that is the ultimate denominator of value. Is she confident or always seeking validation? Is she always seeking out authority figures like cops, doctors, and teachers, or does she only look to you? Is she always seeking validation from her bevy of "friends" and going out with them, or does she stand strong alone? Those are the questions to ask.

Asking about body count will only filter the idiots and "sex positive" losers. Some value there since if they're dumb enough to fuck a ton of people and tell you about it, they're probably also dumb enough to not use protection. A smart prospect will just lie because they know a high body count reduces their value in a serious relationship. If for some reason you want an LTR, reserve commitment for like 6 months minimum. During that time watch for inconsistencies in her story. You can't ask directly, so lead into topics where it could organically come up, preferably while enjoying some alcohol. Avoid language that implies judgement. You want her to feel comfortable sharing information. That six months is a good shakedown period for other red flags as well. However, even with all that there are no guarantees.

I know a girl who had a boyfriend since high school, they broke up for a summer during college (and she racked up 20 bodies in that short time) and then they were back together again. Her next boyfriend will think he hit the jackpot and never know the truth unless she's dumb enough to tell him. My point is you'll never know for sure.
But yes, if you have to do a guesstimate, look at her friends (are they all single/sloots), look at her Instagram (does she have 1k+ followers, post a lot of bikini and festival/nightlife pics etc), figure out what her hobbies are (partying), and trace her relationship history.
Their performance in bed can be very misleading is something I figured out as well. There are girls with high body counts who can't fuck for shit and girls with low body count that can suck a golf ball through a garden hose...

Honestly, I'm not overly fussed about the number as long as it's not ridiculous like mine (100+). I'd say somewhere between 8-10 notch count for an LTR, but that's never guaranteed anyway since women lie about that shit. It also depends on age. My ex claimed she'd been with about 8 partners her whole life, and she was 27. Not a big deal to me if true. I'm not huge into banging virgins, but I don't want to LTR sluts either. Middle ground is good, but as I said, age factors in. If she's had 8-10 by the time she's 20 then you can be sure she's a 304.

I used to think it was more important, but have sort of changed my mind.
Low body count, in my experience, always indicates some kind of trauma or other mental health issues in relation to touch and being intimate.
The only exceptions are if a girl has had a boyfriend since forever and they just broke up or is from a very traditional upbringing and raised religiously. Both of these are very rare in urban areas & easily identifiable.
Otherwise, she's going to have a 'high' body count. Usually between 5 to 12.
For me what is more important is if her body count is an indication of high risk taking behavior. To some degree it always is. But a big red flag is if the girl in question was racking up bodies out of boredom. ONS from clubs/house parties/festivals.
Girls wanna fuck too, and it's very unrealistic to expect to find an attractive girl in an urban area with a low body count that's older than 21. I'd prefer a girl who has had a couple of FWB/STRs/LTRs over a girl who racked up a lot of ONS. The downside to that is alpha widowing, though. Which is much more problematic than high body count.
To give a number; 1 body count added for every year over age 18 is fine for me. 2 maybe, 3 or more per year is problematic.
edit: in the end, it comes down to does she treat you right? Is she improving your life to such an extent that it's worth it to give up other women? Do you get your moneys worth figuratively (but also literally) speaking? This is also why you NEVER marry women, because you should always reserve the option to walk away if they start lacking.

Starting to think that's almost impossible. My gun to the head answer is single digits. No more. But ideally 5 or less.
I had a FWB that had 2 bodies before me and she as past 30 yo. Rare as hell find but those two bodies covered 11 years of relationships for her. Hard to be slooting when you're off the market your whole adult life. Not sure she'd be sub 6 before me without all those relationships tbh

Pretty shocked by your answer, as I know men who have 6 figure net worths, style/ gym/ game is on point, yet they're in relationships women with 5-10 BCs.

I ask them outright. "What's your body count?" and if it's more than 0, I don't shit on them. I just silently disqualify them as LTR material. Women are allowed to have standards. Just as well, I have mine. These women don't exist in the West. They're all sluts. Thus, only good for plate spinning.
Just like you, I also separate the terms wife and LTR. I'm not looking for a wife. I don't care who the woman is, marriage is off the table.
