I will add though, when dress clothes were what I had to wear for work, girls would approach me out at the bar:

Fuck even in street clothes I still get asked to this day about my sexuality because of the scarf.
God damn it this seems to basic to make an actual post of but I suppose, most men run around sloppy.

Listen Dad people pay good money for pre ripped and pre stained jeans. There's just something attractive about a man who looks like he does manly shit.
I guess you should elaborate on what dress well means to you?
My style is good fitting, monocolor shirts/long sleeves/hoodies with good fitting jeans or cargo shorts. Basic as fuck but nothing overly baggy (except for the hoodies) or super tight. I own four pairs of the same all black shoes all in different stages of life.
Only thing fancy about my outfits are my fruity scarfs and bitches love em.
Works great for bars, social events and what not but I'll admit I get more IOIs grocery shopping in my work clothing than I do in street clothes.

Be attractive
- get clothing that fits properly
- clothing color that matches your skin complexion
- hang your clothing (no wrinkles/fold marks)
- learn to do laundry properly (get stains out)
- hygiene: nails, facial hair, including eyebrows
- find a fragrance you enjoy and wear it
- have a few clean pairs of shoes for going out
- do something with your hair
- fix your fucking posture
Basic shit that you don't really have to do to pull pussy but women inherently notice and will give you a slight advantage before ever opening your mouth.
It's not even just about women. All people instinctively judge you first based on your appearance and you will get treated better if you look well put together.
Don't be unattractive
The life experience that hammered this home for me happened around 19/20 when I was just a young burn out. Hair long, shaggy and unkempt. Dressed in ripped up pajama pants (like jeans with holes in the knees) and free head shop t-shirts you got for dropping money on glass. Probably even smelled like weed.
Had an issue with my bank account and the branch manager basically told me while yes my account is set up not to over draft, its on me to make sure it remains in the green, so I'd be stuck with the fees. Didn't even walk me away from the tellers. I was brushed off.
Walked into the same bank for the same issue, with the same manager a month later. He took us back into his private office, got treated to snacks and a soda while he waved all my overdraft fees and apologized for the mix up. Explaining the same thing as before in a much nicer tone. With exact outcome I desired.
The only thing that had changed was my appearance. I stopped in after a job interview with a button up tucked into dress pants and my hair put together. Same mannerisms on my end, world of difference as to how I was treated because he assumed I was something I was not, based solely on how I physically presented myself.
