People in Structural unemployment could have no choice. With AI A.I. progress it can get worse. You're right.

Then we have ppl people working I.e. 5h/week not being formally unemployed but living of welfare nevertheless (UK). They enjoy paying miniscule minuscule rates for home (that count toward property repayment), free refurbishments and repairs etc. And doing blackmarket black market.

By knowing how many of them in in.the system you would really know how many has political agenda for taking.

And I'm not against support per se, but this ppl people are easiest to manipulate. Give them the "free" money and you can do whatever you want in other areas.

I can observe it in Poland. You're probably not aware of how many scandals were there in last months. Latest being: using Pegasus to spy on opposition during elections. Highest court overtaken by pawns. Full on worst quality nepotism in structures and biggest national companies. It will take ages to unwind.

All this coz.they , because they give 'free' money to right people and several million young ppl people left the country over the years to find better elsewhere. Some were coming back testing waters, loosing most and emigrating again. Now there is no voting counterbalance for people on benefits and it will be worse, as 2022 taxes will hit even more S&MEs ? and better earning, causing more exodus.

And then you also have women that can overlap with above group as the state now is their ultimate daddy (bar I never talk in absolutes).

I believe that were going in cycles, the current system (or whatever is next plan] will eventually collapse. And the ppl people at the top know it and they either try to control changes or be chameleon. There isn't many powerful people from XVII century to have the power today I believe.

Yet With better acccess access to knowledge, education techniques, massmedia mass media for control, top can pass power internally for longer.

Revolts? If most powerful weapon was horse, armor and sword/bow, then even fork didn't look so.bad. with people being disarmed in.most cases resistance becoming futile. Lets see what will happen in Kazakhstan.

Although jprdl was out of touch, lenient approach will eventually get us all to shitty place. And although it will collapse there are better tools today to keep status quo for much longer than 400y ago.

It's easily observable what ppl people want and can do on a basis of irrational and contadictionary contradictory actions involving COVID restrictions.
